Campus Health Workshops
These workshops are led by SHS’s Health and Wellness Educator, Sandi Herman. Sandi facilitates individualized workshops on meditation, stress reduction, mindfulness, and relaxation. Through these workshops, students will learn techniques for reducing stress, thereby increasing your health and well-being.

Urban Biking Education
New to biking or biking in an urban setting? Request this workshop and learn about how to safely manipulate biking around the city.
These workshops are led by SHS’s Nutritionist, Debbie Westerling, and can be tailored to your group’s specific needs and requests. Topics may include how to maintain a healthy diet while being an active, busy student working off of a low budget, eating healthy over the holidays, or other nutritional guidance that is of relevance and interest to your group.

A fun and interactive way to learn about nutrition and healthy eating with an additional section on physical activity! Topics include “Eat This, Not That”, “I Like to Move It”, “Eating Healthy at Penn”, “Balanced is Always Better”, and “Random Trivia”.
This workshop turns a difficult and sometimes uncomfortable topic of conversation into a fun game! This version of Jeopardy covers various sexual health topics, including contraception, condoms, STDs, HIV/AIDS, and random sexual health trivia.
The Art of Sleep
This educational presentation discusses the importance of sleep. It will not only inform you of proper sleep hygiene, but discuss the tools and resources available to students on campus to help you achieve optimal sleep quality and quantity.
Our Sleep Jeopardy workshop is an interactive version of the Art of Sleep presentation. Students will learn about the basics of sleep architecture, difficulties with sleep and sleep disturbances, typical occurrences during the different stages of sleep, and specific sleep statistics.
This version of Jeopardy is a combination of all our Eat Well, Sleep Well, and Sex Well programming areas. Students will learn about eating, sleeping, and sexual health at Penn!
